Alwyn Roberts

Alwyn qualified as a licenced aircraft maintenance engineer covering a wide range of piston, turboprop, jet aircraft and helicopters in 1982. After holding senior positions in general aviation and small airlines, Alwyn joined a bombardier company in 1986 as a field service manager responsible for product support. Then, in 1992, Alwyn took up a position with an aviation insurance company and helped them establish their own in-house survey capability. He then joined an aviation company in 1997. Alwyn has more than 25 years of experience handling complex airline and general aviation/helicopter losses including major airline losses and risk surveys worldwide. For the past 16 years, he has managed the CTA office, before joining Sedgwick’s aviation services in December 2023. Alwyn continues to manage the Middle East region from the Dubai office. He also holds a commercial pilot’s licence with instrument, multi-engine seaplane and instructors’ ratings.
