After 21 years in aircraft maintenance and quality assurance working for three different U.K.-based airlines, Sean entered the field of aviation loss adjusting in 2001 and currently oversees Sedgwick’s aviation operations in the Americas region. In addition to managing a team of specialist aviation adjusters, Sean actively handles claims on behalf of aviation insurers worldwide, primarily involving partial and total hull losses for commercial airlines, cargo operators and regional carriers, plus liability claims for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), maintenance, repair and operations (MROs), and airlines and ground-handling companies. He has extensive knowledge and experience with commercial jet turbine engines, and holds type ratings on the Airbus A320 series, Airbus A340 and Boeing 747 airframes, and the CFMI CFM56, IAE V2500, GE CF6-80, RR RB211 and PW JT9D engines. Sean has assisted the Underwriters’ Legal Counsel with litigation support, subrogation and expert witness testimony. He is proficient in Spanish.
