Vedprakash Ramlagan

Vedprakash was appointed as a senior loss adjuster at Sedgwick in June 2023. Prior to that, he worked in the short-term insurance industry as a regional engineering manager for a major insurer since 2010. Vedprakash’s responsibilities included portfolio management, risk assessment, account management, training, product marketing, broker relationship-building and underwriting engineering risks including construction. He has more than 12 years of engineering experience working in the automotive, petrochemical, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and power generation industries. During Vedprakash’s tenure in those industries, he has fulfilled various roles, namely project engineer and manager, production engineer, maintenance engineer and packaging engineer. Vedprakash also has experience in safety, health and environment management, as well as in continuous improvements and Kaizen business activities.
