Alex is a qualified barrister and former media underwriter with more than two decades of hands-on production experience working in the film and TV industry. Before joining Sedgwick, Alex was an integral part of United Kingdom’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) responsible for delivering the UK’s film and tv production restart scheme, a £500 million government intervention that successfully enabled film and TV production to continue in the UK during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has considerable and unique experience handling complex media and entertainment claims. Alex leads Sedgwick UK’s media and entertainment team.
