Bill McCrae

Bill has nearly 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, both in loss adjusting and financial claims. He specialises in major commercial property, catastrophe response, business interruption losses and energy claims, and is member of Sedgwick’s major and complex loss team. Bill has additional expertise in Scotland’s locally related industries including scotch whiskey, salmon farming and renewable energy (specifically hydro and wind). He has extensive catastrophe response experience in the UK, the US, the Caribbean and Australia, including large business interruption claims resulting from the Esso Longford natural gas explosion in the Australian state of Victoria. Bill is a qualified chartered loss adjuster.
