Damian Glynn

Damian has 30 years of experience working as a loss adjuster. He specialises in business interruption, commercial property, and major and complex loss claims. Damian also assists corporate businesses and their brokers in reviewing the adequacy of their coverage in policies pre-loss. He is a dual qualified chartered accountant and chartered loss adjuster and has acted as an expert witness and provided expert determinations in both capacities. Damian has served as chair of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjuster’s specialist business interruption group for more than a decade and has conducted technical seminars throughout the UK and abroad. He has been on the winning team for the British Insurance Award’s large loss award six times during his career. Damian is lead author of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters’ ‘The Basic Business Interruption Book’ and the co-editor of ‘Riley on Business Interruption’ (11^th edition).
