David Ward

David has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, and currently acts as an executive loss adjuster and practice group leader within Sedgwick’s global renewables division. Previously, he has worked for several major loss adjusting organisations, as well as engineering consultancies, contractors and operators. He specialises in handling contractor all risks, erection all risks and operational losses relating to offshore assets (including mooring buoys, subsea pipelines, drilling rigs, offshore wind farm structures and cabling). David also specialises in construction, property and energy claims. He has managed multiple construction and energy projects and has experience undertaking forensic reviews of claims. David has handled losses in the UK, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, France, Kazakhstan, Namibia, Cameroon, the Republic of the Congo and Australia. He is a qualified chartered construction manager.
