Graham Plaister

Graham primary responsibility is providing technical oversight and mentoring of major and complex losses predominately within the agricultural and commercial sectors. He also set up and now leads the global specialty practice group (SPG) for global agriculture currently comprised of 30 loss adjusters located globally. The focus of the SPG is to collaborate with various divisions and other SPGs within Sedgwick International to service the international insurance market and global corporate accounts. Graham is an agriculture specialist and has extensive experience in claims management across the commercial, liability and high-net-worth markets. He is frequently called upon to provide technical advice on claims in addition to product design and review of policy wordings for underwriters. Graham has handled several notable multi-million-GBP claims, some of which were related to cattle mortality, contamination of a pig unit and AD plant, bloodstock, poultry disease, various crop claims and land contamination, in addition to acting as an expert witness on a claim involving contamination of a dairy unit. He also has a working farm in Somerset.
