Ian Newth

Ian has more than three decades of experience working as a loss adjuster and is a construction and engineering loss specialist. He currently manages Sedgwick’s specialist structural defects services team, in addition to being part of the operational team for commercial claims services (including specialty claims). Ian’s areas of expertise include contractor all risks, construction liability, engineering, PFI claims and complex losses. Over the course of his career, he has held various senior positions within the construction and engineering loss adjusting arena. Ian is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters and was previously awarded the institute prize for his qualifying examination results.
