Ian Westney

Ian has 35 years of experience working as a loss adjuster. He specialises in commercial property, business interruption (and other financial losses), manufacturing, retail and local authority claims. Ian has been involved in account management and the management of both field and internal loss adjusters. He is part of Sedgwick’s major and complex loss team and is currently an executive adjuster. Ian has handled several claims exceeding £1 million, including claims in the manufacturing, engineering, pharmaceutical, waste management, hotel, local authority and retail sectors. Ian has also been involved in managing several surge events as well as major loss catastrophe work resulting from hurricanes.
