John Newnes

John has nearly a decade of experience working for Sedgwick as a major and complex loss adjuster. He has prior experience as a claims’ manager for a provincial brokerage, a major loss surveyor and a private practice building surveyor. John specialises in major losses, construction and commercial property claims. His key skills include managing multiple location risks and leading major loss teams and business recovery initiatives. John has won several awards during his career, including the Chartered Insurance Institute’s young achiever of the year, Post Magazine’s claims manager of the year and UNA’s achiever of the year.
