Michiel Jongeneel

Michiel has more than 20 years of experience as a Sedgwick colleague and currently serves as chief operating officer of Sedgwick Netherlands. He has previous experience working at an engineering company, where he was responsible for the construction calculations of airports, buildings and infrastructure. As an adjuster, Michiel specialises in handling large property losses and settling disputes concerning policy coverage (including broad international and national experience). Additionally, he has expertise in major and complex losses, catastrophe, global program management, construction and engineering claims. As COO, Michiel is responsible for Sedgwick’s major and complex loss adjusting operations in the Netherlands and the Dutch Caribbean. He sits on the board of the Dutch division of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters.
