Richard Hayman

Richard is a marine technical manager who specialises in marine cargo losses and claims management. He has more than 25 years of experience in international marine claims investigations and management working for cargo carriers, freight agents, owners, manufacturers, insurers, importers and exporters. He’s led investigations into multi-million-pound losses ranging from theft of high value and fast-moving consumable goods to complex pharmaceutical mold contamination claims. Before stepping into his current role, he headed the marine TPA claims handling services division and has extensive experience supporting customers in freight liability and cargo claims. Richard also provides enhanced recovery support services to help cargo interests recoup losses sustained against third parties carried via all modes of transport.
